Modernisation of the lighting infrastructure at the „Podwarpie” interchange, a crossroads on the DK-1 and DK-86 highways in Siewierz, is one of LUG’s complex implementations in co-operation with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. The scope of works included the disassembly and construction of lighting of the interchange traffic system. LUG prepared and made a timely delivery of more than 390 modern Urbino LED fixtures in power-flux ranges 110 W 11,900 lm – 252 W 20,600 lm. Applying dedicated product-designed optics early in the analysis stage allowed us to face the challenge of ensuring uncompromising quality and security for traffic in this demanding, multi-level area. With our many years of experience in implementing the most complicated engineering and architectonic projects, we were aware of how essential it is to light up arches, flyovers and other conflict zones spread over several levels.
