As part of the modernization of road lighting in Zielona Gora, URBANO LED luminaires from LUG Light Factory replaced the sodium-vapor lamps with a power consumption 107W each. In URBANO LED, through the use of a programmable driver and intelligent lighting control system - LUG LIGHT OUTDOOR CONTROL (LLOC), nominal power was reduced to 49W. The use of the economic scenario in the LLOC system enabled the further reducing consumption to 35W at night. The result is identical luminaire flux from one luminaire as in the preceding conventional solution, but with the application of URBANO LED luminiares the savings reached 55%.
