ROBEX Sp. z o.o., Lębork, Poland MODERNIZATION OF LIGHTING SYSTEMS This Lębork-based company with foreign capital was established in 1989. Since the beginning of its activity, the company has been involved in the production of containers, fuel tanks and steel structures. These products are used in construction, transport, agriculture and the petrochemical industry. The company sells products to customers in the European Union, as well as in North and South America. Its achievements have been recognised with a distinction in the ‘Forbes’ magazine Diamonds ranking. Every year the company introduces technological innovations to improve and modernise their production process. One of the important investments increasing the quality and safety of work was the professional lighting of production halls with the use of LUG luminaires. The lighting design was drawn up on the basis of current standards: PN-EN 12464-1 “Lighting of work places. Part 1: Indoor work places” and individually defined investor expectations. The concept has been optimised in terms of lighting quality, meeting standards for light intensity and uniformity, as well as minimising the undesired glare effect. CRUISER 2 LB LED and ATLANTYK LB LED luminaires were used for the project due to their excellent technical parameters. Ease of assembly and many methods of installation were their additional advantages.
