Skøyen Atrium, Oslo, Norway
Architect: Pål Biørnstad
Lund + Slaatto Architects
Investor: Schage Eindom
Distribotion: Solar Norge AS
The Skøyen Atrium is designed as a dynamic game of horizontally embossed volumes, organized around a central, stepped courtyard, which connects directly to the building’s central, inner atrium. The glass-covered atrium forms the project’s central communication area, meeting place and meeting point. The lighting lines of the ARGUS ONE LED luminaires create a dynamic composition, which in turn harmonize with the finishing materials used. The interior palette is characterized by what can be called „Nordic modernism”, consisting of light and warm material surfaces, mainly light wood, golden anodized aluminum and polished, Norwegian slate. Comprehensive lighting of office spaces for various applications is being broken out of the dictate of standard solutions adopted in this segment. The lighting is consistently designed to accentuate the project’s material feel. The office part uses LUGCLASSIC LED and LUGSTAR LB LED luminaires.
